Using Edmodo to enhance ELA instruction
Edmodo can be used in a variety of ways to enhance ELA
instruction. One simple way to use it would be to add articles to the library
and ask students to read and respond. The difficulty of the articles can vary
depending on the student’s reading level. Their reading level can group the
students for a group discussion. Students can simply write their thoughts on
the article or answer specific questions regarding the article. This easy activity
will incorporate both reading and writing to enhance the students’ ELA
instruction.
I like your idea with the different levels of reading and grouping the students! Edmodo is like an educational Facebook with the news feeds and what is going on. I think Edmodo is a great tool for the students, teachers, and educators to use in and outside of the classroom.
