  1. This is a new literacy saturated classroom. Exemplary work! I love the idea of using word doc to write out the idea first and then work on the Prezi. I also like the groupings with peer tutoring concept based on their reading levels. I see a community of learners busy working together and helping each other to achieve the learning goal. I am sure that the students were motivated by the use of Prezi to present their understanding of learning. The differentiated instruction is evident through the report by giving advanced students extra challenging work to do. I love your proposal starting Prezi early if you were to do this again. With new literacy practices, teachers can strategically plan out the entire school year to see what new literacies can be integrated to support teaching and learning. You can also use “flipped classroom” concept and build your own instructional tutorial collection. Students can watch “Prezi How-to” at home and come to school ready for hand-on practices. Wonderful job!

  4. I really liked how you have the students helping each other out based on reading levels. sometimes I believe that if a student is not able to understand a concept when taught by the teacher, another student can be able to explain or help in an efficient way that is easier for the child to grasp!
